Film your friends do scary things to become SpöökTube famous!
HERE’S THE PLAN!
Get famous or die trying! Content Warning is a co-op horror game where you film spooky stuff with your friends to try and go viral.
Step One: Go Down to the Old World
Squad up, customize your face with the ASCII face customiser, buy some gear and use the diving bell to go down to the Old World!
Down there you’ll encounter scary physics-animated monsters, cursed relics and other artefacts!
Step Two: Film something scary
Film as many scary things as possible before you run out of oxygen, camera battery or friends…
Step Three: Upload to SpöökTube
If you survive, you need to get back in the diving bell to transport you and the remaining members of your team to the surface.
Upload your chaotic footage to SpööktTube, settle in for a watch party, and wait for the views to tick up!
And… Profit!!
Every run goes on for 3 days, the more scary stuff you film, the more you go viral. The ad revenue from your SpöökTube videos enables you to upgrade your gear to film better videos and survive more easily in the Old World.
If your team accumulates enough views in three days - you get to keep going with your SpöökTube Career and live a life of fame and fortune!

DEVELOPMENT
Content Warning was developed by a small team of five developers from February to April 2024 with most of the development taking place during a month-long internal game jam in Seoul, South Korea.
RELEASE
The game was released on April Fools day 2024 to pay homage to the Landfall tradition of April Fools jokes, you can read more about them here: http://landfall.se/april-fools-press-kit
The game was released for free for the first 24 hours and then for 7.99 USD the following day.
6.6 Million people ended up claiming the game on Steam and the all-time peak concurrent players reached 204K on April 2nd.
